This is my sample for the Color Challenge hosted by Barbara. What gorgeous colors for the dessert option of Christmas! I was delighted to use this beautiful plaid DSP in just the right colors with a touch of gold.
This card will be the one for our neighbors & friends. I wanted the sentiment to tie in with our gift, which is an Arizona Highways 2022 calendar. The two stamps Merry Christmas, and a happy new YEAR were perfect! Since they were separate stamps, I could ink up the sentiment in both the red & green colors. The strip is popped up on Dimensionals. There is a loose bow from gold cord behind it.
This layout is an idea from Jackie Bolhuis. I thought it was a good one to mass produce and allow this beautiful paper to shine. I customized it for my sentiment and added a gold foil strip in the back. My DH really liked it so I am happy.
I look forward to seeing what design you use to display these wonderful Christmas colors. TFL

Diane, those papers are so pretty, and you've shown them off perfectly! The diagonals make me think of a wrapped Christmas package, especially with the bow under the greeting! Your friends will love this card!
