I went about this the hard way I am certain of that! I cut out the letters HELLO on a piece of cardstock which I had put masking tape on top of. Why? I have no idea but in the end I'm glad I did.
I used the word HELLO as a stencil on the card front to make a one layer card. As you can tell that didn't happen. The HELLO was crooked and looked odd just on the card front so in my own fashion of trying to fix a problem I decided to stencil circles using a new-to-me (RAK) brush from Alt&New https://altenew.com/products/ink-blending-tool-large and distress ink...well, the card didn't look any better SO I used a different color and added more circles!
That didn't work either as then the HELLO which I had now masked off with the letters was hidden in the circles! I used a black marker to go around the edges of the HELLO with my wiggly writing! It wasn't an improvement but I was fulfilling the challenge...
Next I decided to add an image, this is an image someone sent me (another RAK, SCS has the best RAK people!) I colored it with my favorite Crayola colored pencils, fussy cut out the image, used a black marker to go around the cut edges, and popped the bunny up with dimensionals. It still looked blah so added a purple bow of ribbon on her head, popped that up with glue dots and called it good enough!
This was a lot of work and I am certain there was an easier way to fulfill this challenge! I'll look at the other people's cards and I'm sure I'll have a light bulb moment or two!
