Although it looks like I have more (or different) colors than the challenge I promise you they are correct. I wanted my flowers tonal so I used Highland Heather cardstock and ink, shading each layer a bit darker than the one on top. Unfortunately it appears I used Gorgeous Grape!
The background is a retired DSP in the Rich Razzleberrry. And again I think the dark flowers with the DSP just doesn't offer the contrast I would like.
That said, I love the colors this week and know we are going to have some gorgeous florals in the gallery. If I have the time, I may try this combo this coming weekend using stamps instead of dies.

really pretty floral card Jeanne-so perfect for a feminine birthday card - I like how you shaded the cardstock to get a deeper color definition- I often do that

Those blossoms are really pretty and I can't tell whether it's a piece of trim or a strip of dsp behind them but it adds a wonderful subtle touch. I like the petite, slim size of your card as well.

Jeanne, I love the color variations we can get with the designated inks by adding them to colored cardstock, stamping twice, etc. Even moreso if watercoloring and blending colors to create new colors. So this card rocks the challenge and is also quite lovely!
