I've made the base with the wrinkle free distress tutorial, then embossed it and sponged over with stazOn ganache, sprinkled water and dried with tissue, die cut the butterfly, laid the die on vellum traced around and layered with the black one, die cut the tag and stamped the birthday sentiment, added some rhinestones, distressed the edges with my fingers

The vellum butterfly is amazing. It looks a little like wrought iron, only it's too dainty. The spattering on the background adds a wonderful extra distressed look.
