Hello and TFL, Let me start by saying I made these a couple of years ago, not thinking they were special enough to post and didn't get a great photo... but today I wanted to show how simple and pretty these were, in case you are wanting a fast way to make something for your friends/family this year.
I die cut the circles, stamped the Easter basket design on the one circle and the bunny design on a few places on the other circle., sponged a little ink around both circle edges.
Punched the 1/8" circle punch in the middle of the top circle selectively where the image had the handle meet the basket. Then layed on the adhesive pearl trim.
Added the alcohol inked resin Roses to the Prima vintage paper cut outs with glue dots, wrote names underneath, and attached to the top circle with a glue dot.
I threaded the ribbon thru the 2 ribbon punch slits i made on the bottom circle (each side of the egg) and then threaded both ends into the top circle 1/8" circle punch in the middle. By using such wide ribbon, which made tension, all i had to do was lay the egg between the two layers and pull the ribbons away from each other to cinch up the cardstock to the egg.
The recipient just needed to wiggle the egg out, or pull up the top cardstock layer to loosen the grip of the ribbon.
this way i didn't put adhesive on any of the beautiful foil around the egg and it wasn't sticky in anyway.
I found these great eggs at Costco, again it was a couple of years ago.
hope you enjoyed looking and thinking of something you could 'sandwich' between two pieces of cardstock with the ribbon providing the tension to hold it all together ! : )
I am posting this to IC796, Inspiration Challenge, here is the page that inspired me to post my project.

I thought the beautiful eggs with ribbon on top, so grown up designed... closely matched the idea of my way to give an Easter Egg to an adult friend.
enjoy your spring and the take good care. Teresa
