Our Featured Stamper is gl1253. I really enjoyed browsing Gayle's gallery this morning. I wasn't sure what I wanted to make this morning, but when I saw this card, I was inspired. It's really fun and I have this "Merry Beary Christmas" stamp set that I've never used and thought it would be fun. The reason I've never used it is because "Merry Beary Christmas" doesn't make any sense to me. I think it should be "Beary Merry Christmas", so I cut apart the stamp and reordered the word. As a bonus, now I have a cute Merry Christmas stamp too. I also cut the berries off the leaves, so I could stamp them in different colors. What a rebel I was this morning. I decided to make this a tent card and I wasn't going to use the acetate, but then my bear was too small to connect the pieces. So I added the acetate. Now I wish the window were bigger because you can't see the sweet scene that I created inside. I had Youtube playing on the TV next me and I happened to catch a My Favorite Things video where she was coloring a winter scene with Copics. I was mesmerized by the way she quickly colored up the trees, so I had to try. I drew in a snowy ground with white gel pen and colored with white colored pencil. Then I drew in the trees and covered the whole scene in gel pen snow, just like the video. I guess I was doubly inspired today.

Lisa, what a great case of Gayle's card. I love the holly paper and it is such a great contrast for the gingham bear. The scene in the background is perfect.

Love the acetate and fun bear, Jen. The sentiment is perfect too. I am loving berries this year so this one speaks to me extra. Fun case. Hugz
