Happy Color Challenge Tuesday everyone! Itâs great to be joining you again. Chris is our host and the colors she chose for us this week are: Terracotta Tile, Flirty Flamingo, and Soft Suede. The dessert option is anything round.
I used color cardstock and Hero Arts inks to create my card. I started by making the background with an embossing folder. I used dye ink and a blending tool to highlight the raised round areas. The ink was blended randomly leaving some white peeking out. Next, I die cut the flowers and leaves and arranged them on top of the dry embossed panel. The die cut flowers looked pretty round to me. I decided to go all in on the dessert option!
Since I wasnât quite ready to glue the flowers and leaves down yet, I got a piece of Press ân Seal and pressed it down on top of them. That keeps them in place until Iâm ready to commit to glue. They were set aside for later.
Next, I die cut two rectangles out of colored cardstock and adhered them onto a white top folding card. The dry embossed panel went on top of that. At that point, I took the flowers and leaves and carefully applied tiny dots of glue to the back of them. I then took the Press ân Seal with the die cuts still clinging to the back and laid them down on the dry embossed piece. I peeled away the Press ân Seal and voila! Perfectly placed! Last but not least, I added the sentiment. That was die cut too. In case you havenât noticed, this is a very die cut forward card!
Thanks for checking out my card. I hope this inspires you to play along with the weekly color challenge.

Great ink blended background - the colors are so soft. I like the embossed circles for some dimension And flowers and sentiment dies go together so well. Pretty card.
