Karen posted the card in 2015, and it is still fun! I changed the image, added a poorly done doctor's office floor (they must have had someone like me lay it - lol), and changed my colors to black/white/red.
When I made it, I thought it would be fun to have the wheelchair be doing wheelies and I could send it to my Pop who just got a wheelchair for long doctor visits. I inked up the image with a black marker and stopped where the dog was. I stamped it at an angle on my paper, and then I drew in the missing wheelchair lines where the dog was. I tried to do a hounds tooth design on the hat as Pop loves to wear his Bear Bryant hat (he is a big Alabama fan).
I know he is going to love this.
Thanks for the inspiration, Karen and enjoy your week!
Thanks for visiting!

What a great sentiment, and to give someone whose mobility needed some help such a positive spin on this, I love it! I worked as a nurse's aid in a 200-bed nursing home for many summers and a month at Christmas while going to grad school for a couple of degrees and also a program in England, all to say that I saw lots of wonderful people in wheelchairs, and how they would have appreciated being celebrated like this. It warms my heart...
I think that your floor looks really neat, what a great celebratory card, it makes my heart sing, and all of the black and white and that geometric pattern makes it a perfect guy card--something that I struggle to create and had to make 2 this past week...

A cute and fun card for your pops. Maybe this isn't a good idea planting this in his head. LOL. You may not be able to keep up with him. He will love your funny and thoughtful card.
