I went to a local scrapbook store and this was one of their drop in classes. They charged $12 for just one of these and it took around 30 minutes to make. I decided I could adapt this to our stuff and offer this project to my customers, so I took the class so I had a sample to bring home and then I made this one. Instructions posted here:
This is not only a card, but a gift card holder and a gift album. The teacher at the store used Zip Dry glue to adhere the paper, but I found Crystal Effects worked exactly the same. You must be careful to spread it very thin, by pressing the tip of the bottle right against the plastic as you move the tip and squeeze, you get a nice thin amount.
To adhere the accordion to the inside back of the case and the gift card pocket to the inside front, I used double-stick tape. You can use sticky-strip, but you need a lot of it...double-stick works just fine in this case.
You can make these for any theme where you would present a gift card, or leave the card pocket out and just treat it as an album.
