I haven't played much with the glass bead gel medium that I bought a long time ago so I thought I'd give it a try today. I sponged some DO inks on bristol paper and then lightly stenciled some leaves. I cut out my square and added the glass bead gel through a grid stencil. The poppies are cut from a leftover piece made by swiping acrylic paints on paper. That's about it. Of course I had a smudge of glue but was able to cover it up with the sentiment....that's my challenge with CAS cards...I can't seem to get away without a small boo boo. ;)

I don't know this gel but it looks great, I love the colors and love your poppies too, a sentiment to hide a smudge of glue is perfect, if you hadn't told you had a smudge we even didn't notice!!

The poppies are beautiful in those colours, and I know how pretty the glass bead gel medium must look in real life. Yep, I think CAS cards are very unforgiving, but your sentiment is a perfect rescue job.

This card is gorgeous, Polly. I love the die cut poppies, and the square with the gel glass is amazing!! We all make mistakes, and here on SCS they are places for embellies and sayings!!

Beautiful card and texture, Polly! Love the glass beads in the gel medium! I know too well how to cover up those little (and sometimes not so little) smudges! LOL!

Your card is gorgeous Polly! I am so thrilled you played with glass bead glitter gel. I call that stuff "crack" even though I have never done drugs in my life, that stuff is addicting (for me anyway). I love how you used this in a small area on your panel for a highlight. Doing this adds just the right amount of sparkle and light to your oh-so pretty poppies. I chuckled about the glue smudge Polly, but I am chuckling with you because I do this all the time it seems. Great save with the sentiment though- it looks purposeful. What a gorgeous cas card this is Polly! ~Karen.
