Page done for a Facebook BAJ Challenge (Bible Journaling Tips and Tricks group).
The challenge had like 10 bible verses/chapters on God's protection/comfort. We had to pick one and do a page however we like. I picked Psalms 91 since I am doing the whole book of Psalms before I venture out too much in this bible.
I started by adding an old hymnal page to the blank part of the page with Gesso. Added more Gesso to protect the page since I knew I was going to add a lot of paint to this. Painted on lots of colors, stenciled on some ink, then added some more words from the scripture. Didn't like how some of the words didn't come out so I added feathers, bling, paint splatters and some typed up parts of the scripture.
It is a lovely scripture full of hope. Hugz

This reminds me that I need to get back to Bible journaling now that I have a few extra moments. Thank you for the lovely inspiration. I think I'll start with this verse as well.

What a beautiful page this is Nancy! I have always love this particular verse and I love what you did with this page to honor this verse. What a joy it must be to open your bible journal and see these gorgeous pages you are creating these days, and what a great keepsake this is too! ~Karen.
