A big congrats to Betty, the newest Featured Stamper! She has a lovely gallery & after much browsing, I chose THIS card to case. I kept most of the layout & flower theme, but used different images, dies & colors, & moved the greeting a bit.
After coloring the pretty flowers, I decided against fussy cutting them entirely & instead used my out of the box die cutting technique. A black pinstripe paper was added down the left side & I tucked in a few die cut green branches. On the greeting, I stamped it on a narrow piece then used just one scallop of the largest pierced scallop circle die to cut the ends. A couple of black mini brads were put on the ends.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog w/ Copic colors & product links: The Write Stuff

Beautiful card, Julie! I love the CAS card design. Love the colors, too, because these flowers look like the marigolds that used to line our front walk and were so welcoming.
Julie, this is such a gorgeous card. I love how your brain works to create such creative card layouts. I love the use of the white and patterned paper for the background layer. Your flowers are colored beautifully and I really love the touches of green foliage. XOXO
