This is my first entry for the letter N - today's challenge! No, I'm not caught up, I still need to do last week's letter. Oh well, I have two for the letter N. Can you find the N? It is that lovely background made from a napkin. I used the felted cardstock tutorial found right here: Felted Cardstock Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers My other N entry uses another part of the same napkin but you wouldn't guess it was the same napkin at all.
I used today's fun sketch to create my card by stamping the half circle flower from Awash with Flowers in Balmy Blue and Highland Heather. Those colors were inspired by this week's color challenge, I thought they'd look good with that napkin background.
I followed the steps in the tutorial to create the felted cardstock, then die cut it with my stitched rectangle. I die cut the flowers using a circle die and then die cut the sentiment three times - twice from white cs, and once from gold mirror. When I put the background on the white card base, it seemed to need another layer so I inserted a layer of gold mirror to frame it.
I have hung on to that napkin for quite a while, I'm thankful for the push to finally use it with this tutorial.
Thanks for looking!

This is SO NEAT Catherine! I love that your background is a napkin and I was absolutely thrilled to see you use one of my all-time favorite StampinUp stamp sets for the flowers on this card. This has a new and modern feel to it with this design and the colors you chose. Wow! ~Karen.
