I did Lyn's fun watercolor technique on very heavy, black chalkboard CS, so had very little warping. I used the whole 8 1/2 x 11 sheet, using different color combinations on each half.resulting in 4 BG. I used a mixture of regular and metallic watercolors for the splattery BG. Using the MISTI, I stamped the bird image, first with white pigment, using clear EP. I then stamped a few more times, selecting different areas, and double and triple embossed with a few different interference EP, so there are several subtle colors when the light hits it differently. I did the sentiment and greenery differently, using Perfect Medium sticky embossing ink and PearlEx Powders. They are not raised up like the heat embossing. I sprayed a fixative on it, so the powder will stay put. Mounted it on white and then a rich purple. This was a fun experiment all around.

Oh, look at that amazing background, the mottled effect is just mesmerising. Love that greenery stamped in the foreground, too. And the stark contrast of the bird in white.

It is so fun to see the different looks everyone got - in yours I see the bird in bas relief - sitting in a cherry tree and now I want (need?) fresh picked cherries, too!
