I tried my SU water crayons on this, and did not work too well. I did not have the brand you said worked for you Rebecca, but after many attempts, I finally did use my distress oxide inks and they worked better than the other. Since the link you suggested did not work for me either, I really wasn't sure how you were suppose to apply the white texture so I did it with white embossing powder. It is pretty much a disaster, but here it is anyway. I did attempt something new without much directions. Most of the you tubes I found called for black watercolor paper which I did not have and you said we didn't need. This sentiment kind of went along with my feelings about my card, but should have been something like this " start each new technique with a couple of drinks and it really won't matter how it turns out." LOL

Oh my goodness! You didn't have all the tools/instruction you needed and yet, your project is awesome! I used the watercolors I had, but others used their watercolors (brand doesn't really matter I don't think. I just knew the other mediums (crayons and oxides) might take more layers/work to start to pop - you nailed it though! Thanks for taking my challenge!

Now you are a comedienne like Anne. Frustrating to be sure. I think you were brave and next time it will go better. I'm surprised the crayons didn't work that well.
