I made this card for the letter C Alphabet challenge. The C's in the card are for the cardinals.
This card is made using a napkin. The napkins were gifted to me by LizBeth1976 (thank you Liz!) and I knew immediately I wanted to try my hand at making a card with a napkin. I separated the napkin sections until I had a single layer. Then I used a glue stick to generously apply glue to the entire card panel. Lay the printed napkin right side up over the glued panel and smooth out gently with fingers. I purposely cut the card panel about 1/4" larger than I needed so I could trim it down after the napkin was adhered. I did this process twice so I could fussy cut out the cardinals to pop up on the card front. 3M foam tape is adhered behind the cardinals for added dimension.
I used a sponge and Tombo glue, then randomly dabbed the sponge with glue on it around the card front, then poured Dazzling Diamonds glitter over the card front. This added some sparkle and added to the frosty feel of this scene too.
What a fun technique this is to do. Thanks for looking. ~Karen.
