I have a coworker who is turning 40 tomorrow. My "class" and I will be turning 40 this year, so I have plenty of friends at work that will need 40th birthday cards this year. Here is the first one--for my friend, Chris, who loves golfing. Today I checked off TLC105 which was called "Blurred Vision". It was to stamp your image and then blur it with water. I stamped my background full of golfers onto watercolor paper and then blurred the lines with a wet brush. I computer generated the "Fore!-Tee" and traced over it with black glaze pen to give it texture. I fussy cut my golf ball and popped the grass and golf ball on foam squares. I was very excited for the opportunity to use my new Lawn Fawn grass border die. Lastly, I added Nuvo Crystal Glaze to make the ball shine. You know me and my impatience. I had to get to work, so I couldn't wait for the Crystal Glaze before I took the photo. I hid the dripping Crystal Glaze behind my watermark. LOL! Don't worry. In real life, I wiped off the drip and it's all good.

This reminds me of that event in the office - my desk was done to death! Any cards that had the next milestones on them were hidden and not displayed. I am sure this card will be well received.

How fun! Tee-rific pun for a 40th birthday. Creative ideas for the layout, such as the strip of grass blades. The technique turned out great. Wonderful card! Thanks for playing along with the Sketch Challenge.
