This card was made for a Try Stampin' on Tuesday sketch challenge using the "Triple Stamping" technique.
I started by using the "Baby Wipe" technique where you drop re-inker ink onto a baby wipe and then use that as your ink pad, but I wasn't getting dark enough colors. So on top of that background I used the ink pads themselves and four different leaf skeleton stamps to get darker images.
The card base is Stampin' Up! (SU) Early Espresso cardstock, with two different paper patterns (text and woodgrain) from the DCWV paper stack. I glued these to the card base, then temporarily glued a post card pattern from the same paper stack. I stamped four different leaf patterns over the entire piece, then removed the post card piece and matted it with SU Early Espresso cardstock.
I found a scrap piece of dotted ribbon in my stash, and wrapped it around the main pattern piece and glued on the back, then mounted it to the card base using glue.
On top of this, I centered the matted post card so the leaf patterns matched up, and attached it with adhesive foam strips to raise it up off the card front for added interest.
Finally, three enamel dots were attached in the top left corner per the sketch challenge.
I am rating the difficulty of this card as a "1" out of a possible "5". It is extremely easy to make. If, at a later date, I want to stamp a sentiment on the card to personalize it, that will be easy to do as well.
