Still trying to build up my sympathy card stash and that was not easy with the cheerful colors that Chris chose today and the plaid dessert that I just couldn't resist. I looked through my unused stamp sets for flowers, because these are good flower colors and good for sympathy cards and came up with this "Time Well Spent" set. A bit whimsical and cheerful for a sympathy card, but why not send some cheer, right? I stamped, colored, and cut them with my ScanNCut. Then I got out my CDD plaid stencil and sponged in some green plaid. Found a nice big font to stand out against the green plaid and then needed to distress it a bit, so I splattered black paint over the front.

I have that set and I love how those flowers just pop from this pretty green background. Awesome.

Jen, I love the cheerful look of this sympathy card. It will bring a smile when it's received. Who doesn't love bright flowers?
