So, I was really really stumped looking at this challenge this morning and plugged french into the evernote file to see what it would spit out and it came up with this old set and french script background...
seriously.
I am not so sure I have ever made anything with this stamp from the set in all these years either so, ha it's very simple but, I have some old old lace that I think is French so, I gave this a hem stitched border for that linen effect. thanks for this challenge Chrissy & tfl.

Cute with your French proclamation of Love! - Glad this stamp finally got to see ink. You framing makes me think of the old hardanger embroidery / cutwork ( and while I've read it had it's origins in Persia and Italy, I 'm sure the French figured a way to improve on it!!)

Such a fun take on the French challenge! How neat that you found exactly what you needed hiding in your stamp reserve. Love the crisp, clean look of the hem stitch edge on the white panel. Neat card! TFS
