I made this card for last week's Teapot Tuesday Challenge. Pat has a wonderful challenge for us to use a "sketch for Shelley." Because I am from the land of 10,000 lakes, I focused on making a card with a lake scene because this is something Shelley likes. Being a 2-time survivor myself means this challenge is near and dear to my heart.
This card also fits the Alphabet Challenge for the letter S. The S's in this card are strong, shining lake and soothing scene.
I have popped this card in the mail so it is on it's way to Shelley now. Thanks for looking today. ~Karen.

Soothing-you are not kidding. I want to pull up a lawn chair right now. This is so lovely, Karen. Your colors are soothing too and I love the birch trees so much.

A perfect scene for relaxing. Great job with those kitchen sink stamps.

What a beautiful scene you've created Karen! I love those little loons. We have lots of loons our lake. I love to hear them call to each other! I'm sure Shelley will appreciate this gorgeous card!

This is such a gorgeous lakeside scene, Karen. You always do a wonderful job with masking. I know you enjoy doing it, but I don't like masking one bit. Love the placement of your sentiment and the beautiful font~

Karen, this is stunning. I love the peaceful lake scene you have created here. I wish I could sit there and watch the birds on the lake. Absolutely fabulous!
