Another Anything Can Happen Day card, using up some stash.
Unfortunately I need a sympathy card. The 38 year old son of a friend died in an ATV accident on Friday.
I brayered the three SU inks, threw some water on and then mounted a flower diecut, made from another 'brayer off' piece. It's on Yupo so I'm guessing I brayered off some sprays and alcohol inks. Stamped the sentiment in Versamark onto a scrap of dp and embossed with gold. Layered that on some vellum and added some thin pieces of birch bark. Curt's mother Teri collected some birch bark for me up at their cabin and I thought she'd appreciate that touch.
I'm really sad for Teri, Curt's three siblings and for Violet, Curt's 3 year old daughter. She was a Daddy's girl.

Such a terrible loss for your friend and her family. Your card is beautiful with the soft blues for backdrop and the pretty wildflower. Love the touch of birch bark.

Oh, how tragic for the family :-(. But what a lovely card, especially with the personal element of the birch bark. That background is simply gorgeous. I can't imagine ever feeling free enough with Yupo to use it for brayering off.

made me cry for Violet. Nothing is sweeter than being a Daddy's girl. My heart goes out to your friend, of course Violet and the whole family. This card is beautiful and comforting in it's simplicity. Luv
