Congratulations to Angie, this week's featured stamper. So many wonderful cards to case, but I love this: New beginnings by stampinhappy at Splitcoaststampers, remembering I had a similar butterfly stamp that had not seen ink yet.
Changes:
I loved her rough edge but bordered with black instead.
My butterfly is flying in a different direction
Different sentiment on different label die
Sponged 3 colors instead of w/c 4
Sponged on printed dp. instead of stamping words.
I first embossed the butterfly in white ep. then did the sponging trio, courtesy of Kristina Werner's selections on her blog. She has posted lots of different oxide combos to use. Very helpful.
I added twine and a butterfly with teeny stickles which you can hardly see in this photo. tfl

What an absolutely stunning card this is Shirl. Your sponging is done is such beautiful colors and is perfectly flawless; highlighting this gorgeous white-embossed butterfly beautifully. The black mat really sets the image panel off so nicely. The sponging on your sentiment label is just as beautifully done. You wrapped it all up so nicely with this dainty black butterfly and purple bow! I love your gorgeous take on Angie's beautiful inspiration card! ~Karen.

An ethereal beauty, Shirl. The omihued butterfly is gorgeous! I love your take on the FS. And thanks for reminding me to use sequins...they add such a pretty touch!
