I'm in a bit of a sympathy card slump. I don't have any and I just can't seem to find my mojo to make some. I tried today, but I don't love this. Maybe it's because of my attempt to use an image that I've never used before and to use up some DP. I'm just not crazy about either. I do love this fun sketch, though!

I love that embossed bg, your butterfly is beautiful, perfect coloring on the image. A really pretty card Jenn!!

I like it. I think butterflies are always good for sympathy cards because of a lot of the symbolism, and I really like the background paper. I need to add a few sympathy cards into my stash too. I planned to make both my TLC samples as sympathy, but found it hard to work a sentiment onto the field one.

I too could use some sympathy cards for the stash and fully understand your difficulties with making them. I like your butterflies here and the DP's are somewhat quirky but work really well I think. The contrast between the delicate butterflies and the tough looking background paper is great! This card isn't sugary and that is a good thing for the purpose.

Au contraire, Jennifer, I think your card is wonderful. You chose wonderful patterns and colors. The butterfly colors are cheerful and the font of the word sympathy complements the image lines superbly.
