I went to my stash of background papers. The blue bird was die cut from a polished stone alcohol paper and the others were cut from a bleach job gone wrong on the brown paper. Glad I didn't throw it out back when I made it. All was laid onto DP and the sentiment was positioned and embossed.

Ooh that is cool, and most backgrounds look super cut up smaller I think sometimes of the ones you wouldn't use for a focal point. ( don't toss any of them lol)

Your "gone wrong" piece was perfect for this project with the bits of leaf spray over your brown bird & branches. Nicely designed from your inspiration fabric.
