This is my sample for SC717. I am excited to be a part of the sketch challenge team for the next 6 months. Cathy is our hostess this week and she gave us a great layout to work into a card.
I used the Harvest Scarecrow die from CottageCutz to create my card.
On the image panel, I took a cloud stencil and sponged some clouds in tumbled glass ink and mowed lawn distress ink for a bit of ground cover.
The corner pumpkins cover element 4 of the sketch and I angled them slightly.
My background paper is from the Stampin'-Up "painted harvest" collection. I paired that with crushed curry and Cajun craze cardstocks.

Mary, this scarecrow card is so cute, and he looks pretty pleased where he is perched. You've created a beautiful autumn day in this scene. Also, the crushed curry twine is a lovely contrast to the cajun craze strip.
