I was interested to try out Lydia's challenge. Having used uncharacteristically bright colours for my base I was struggling, so resorted to my usual cover-up for brights - a layer of vellum. Stamped the earth and sentiment, tore the bottom edge, scored the sides and stitched it to the base. Two birds and a dolphin cut from matt silver card add to the sentiment and helped provide spots where I could glue the vellum to the base.

The bg is perfect with the vellum toning it down....clever how you covered the gluing of the vellum....the birds represent the land and the dolphin the water. Beautiful card. TFS

Dang, lady! You have amazed me once again. You have all kinds of tricks and solves. The vellum, torn and scored, is brilliant. I like the eco message in the globe, too. Great job, Sabrina.
