I came across this card (7th card down) on Pinterest recently: http://crazy4challenges.blogspot.com...1_archive.html
I needed a sympathy card for my friend who just lost her dad. Mine didn't turn out as well as I had hoped, but I still went with it. For my trees I spritzed them with water before stamping. I wished I would have just tapped the ink around on the paper.

Wow! I made sure to pop this into favs AND print off before commenting. Love EVERYTHING about this card...in fact I’m glad you did the trees the way you did, they have depth and soft texture that probably would have been altered if you had done the tap-tap thing.
You used one of my favorite images, the tree from Wonderland, and I just bought the set with the flock of birds, so now I know how to put them together.
This is an amazing card, and is sure to be treasured by your friend as a soothing reminder of your love and concern in the loss of her dad. Nicely done!
