This is my sample for CC677. Stef is our hostess and she has chosen calypso coral, peekaboo peach and emerald envy. Dessert Option this week is favorite embellishment.
Well, this card must be a record for the time it took to complete. I had such trouble getting it together. I started off using another 2-step stamping floral image and I just couldn't get the leaves right. After 7 attempts I figured it was time to try something else (lol)!!! My 2nd choice didn't work any better and then I switched to the field flowers set. It's another 2-step stamp image. With the help of my stamp-a-ma-jig, it finally worked.
Then when I started the assembly, I bent the coral layering panel trying to wrap my ribbon around it. So, I cut another panel and then when I tried to remove the dsp that got all wonky. I had to cut more dsp. And 6 hours later, I finally finished this card.
My designer paper is from the Stampin'-Up "delightful daisy" collection. The flowers are stamped with peach and coral inks. I fussy cut one of the flowers to add interest to the panel.
The ribbon is from the Sale-a-Bration shimmer ribbon pack. To complete my card I added peek-a-boo peach enamel dots. They along with sequins are my current fave embellishments.
Hope you can play along with us this week. Stef has chosen some pretty spring colors and knowing how much you ladies love flowers-these colors are perfect.

I always LOVE when you use this flower. I can actually remember you using it a long time ago and I loved it then too. I never made one card I liked with this set. Funny how that goes sometimes - but you nail it everytime!

LOL, Mary! You know I had the exact same experience getting in gear for this challenge! I love that you fussy cut and popped up one of the blossoms. Your card is just beautiful!

Glad you kept going, your card turned out beautiful! I hate it when everything goes wrong! Love the enamel dot in the center of the ribbon and your beautiful flowers!
