After stamping the background stamp I patted Versamark ink all over it, then clear embossed before layering to the card stock. I stamped & embossed the cupcake, then die cut it before coloring with colored pencils. I applied clear Wink of Stella to the entire cupcake. I die cut the rectangle & after adhering it to the card I popped the cupcake up with foam dots. I stamped, embossed & fussy cut the sentiment in banner, then popped it up also. Only a blue card will do for my Lil' sister's birthday & you can't get much bluer than this! For challenges: seizethebirthday.blogspot.com (Anything Goes, birthday); stampinkpaper.com (SIP132, cake walk!), heart2heartchallenges.blogspot.com (winter blues); and www.asyouseeitchallenge.com (AYSI166, sparkle - possibly hard to see in the photo, but boy, does that clear embossed background & WOS all over the cupcake sparkle IRL!) TFL!

I love how you used this swirly marble background. It really looks like frosting! I also own this stamp but have never used it...thanks for the inspiration!

Very cute cupcake and I am sure it really sparkles, if it has Wink of Stella all over it! The background is marvelous! Thanks for joining us at As You See It Challenge.

The swirling background is lovely and I can imagine how sparkly it looks. Isn't it just so hard to capture sparkle on camera? I'm sure your blue-loving sister will be over the moon with this creation. Thanks for joining us at As You See It this week.
Wow, that background is amazing! I've never seen that background stamp but I'll have to check it out. Thanks so much for sharing with us at Seize the Birthday!
Love the background, looks like the shaving cream technique, but you say it's a stamp. Who is the vendor for this stamp? Thanks for sharing with us at H2H.
