For Holly's Falliday challenge, I couldn't get this idea out of my mind though I knew it would take me quite a while to do it. Hopefully the Neenah natural astroparche (parchment like paper) isn't breaking the rules against white or vanilla paper. The paper you see beneath the card is that paper without any adornment.
With this color palette, I stamped, cleaned the stamp, masked, and continued until I covered the entire panel with the leaf stamp from Best of Autumn and the oak leaf stamp from Lovely As a Tree. Then I watercolored them in for more color using an aqua pen. My last thing was to go over every leaf with watered down gold Perfect Pearls for golden sparkle all over (I wish the sparkle showed up in the photo). While it isn't quite what I had in mind, I do like how it turned out so I didn't want to cover it with other layers and the sentiment. I simply heat embossed the sentiment from Apothecary Art, punched it on and adhered it with dimensionals.
Thank you, Holly, for the challenge (hope the challenge police don't come to get me!). I'm glad I finally tried this card from my brain. Thanks for looking!

WOW...Catherine, this is a lovely leaf masking bg...such a beautiful and colordul accumulation of leaves to make a bg that stands on its own...no other adornments, except your sentiment are needed!
