I really like this technique...did a card for Nancy's DTGD challenge so I was familiar with it. I used brushos this time and was happy with the result. TFL!

Awesome! What a cool, wintery, icy scene! Love how your BG turned out and the blue and white is striking. The silver adds a great mystery and looks like abstract tree branches covered in ice.

Seeing this, I'm thinking that one could make a fabulous stormy sky with lightning, thanks for the inspiration. My first trial started tearing as soon as I tried lifting it from the mat, so after that I let them all dry first. Luckily I have at least four mats ;-). What an absolutely beautiful CAS card, Polly.

This is Polly Perfect and I am SO glad you opted to emboss in Silver - I had considered doing that but since the video seemed to stress all golds I followed that for my first tries. . . The silver is AMAZING!! and an option I will now try in the future. Beautiful night sky for your Christmas card.

Polly, I've said it before and it bears repeating, you are the queen of bgs! It is beautiful and the snowy scene adds another touch of elegance to your card. Love it!
