Hidden journaling on the back reads;
As the generations before me dwindle
I find myself left with more and more
photographs of family members that
have no name no memories no stores
attached.
The best way for me to preserve the
few real photograph postcards is to
archive them in a album.
What little information I am fairly
certain of:
The pictures are from the 1930's
Taken in the Midwest possibly
in Iowa obviously during the
winter months.
Gilding Flakes
I used a spray adhesive to coat the edges of my doily.
I sprinkled a hand full of gilding flakes over the adhesive.
Using a stiff bristle brush I burnished the flakes till smooth.
Using a stiff sponge I brushed off any excess flakes.
Caution; the gilding flakes are very susceptible to air movement of any kind!!
The bg paper is torn and inked.
