I loved what Christine did, but my first attempt was not so great. I went with this instead and I am happy with it. Guess I made lots of changes, lol.....
Changes were: blue ink, different stamps and stencil, sprayed color instead of washing, used a sentiment stamp and butterflies instead of birds.
I first used distress stain on the stencil, stamped my images in blue and butterflies with distress stain, and sprayed with Tattered Angels in blue. TFL

So pretty and I love the way you have stamped the sentiment. The butterflies are lovely.

Oh, Shirl, you did a fantastic job of casing Christine's card! I love the splatters of color on the background. The butterflies, flowers, and sentiment are gorgeous! Lovely card, Shirl!

Oh my Shirl, what a beautiful nature-inspired card based on Christine's lovely card. I love the changes you made and they are still in keeping with the feeling of your inspiration card. The blue and gold look so nice together and are a bit unexpected (which I love!). I struggle to make cards like this so thank you for inspiring me to consider something like this - into my favs this goes! ~Karen.
