I started with a watercolor wash - once dry I ran it through the Big Shot with my friend EF. I had intended to matte this piece but since the colors dried MUCH differently from what I'd anticipated nothing seemed to go right so instead I edged it with a gold metallic paint pen. I wanted to use the swirled paperclip as my metal embellishment but again none of the colors were even close so I used the gold paint pen on one of those also! A wonderful painted background and embossing. Makes for a great combo on a card. I love it.

I am, as you may have noticed, a big fan of simply using a pen to edge a panel instead of an extra layer ;-). Talk about using spiral clips, I can take even use them as an accent never mind making them the main feature. Linda, this is just lovely, you really aced the challenge.
