Well, this is one result of an attempt to make "fall-ish" cards in nontraditional colors. I can see myself getting hopelessly hooked on eggplant envy....

Silly question: How are the stamped images staying "white"? Are they embossed? When I do versamark resist the image grabs the color. I am just having a blonde moment? (I can say that 'cause I am) Thanks!!!

I love it. I am into the eggplant/olive combo too! Question - what is the difference btwn versamark resist and crayon resist? Could you please give us the inside scoop

I had to play with this technique a bit... my own blonde moment, I suppose! The trick to getting the versamark to work is to use glossy paper and heat set it first. So just stamp the versamark all over the glossy paper, heat set and then when you sponge ink on the paper it won't stick to the versamar. The difference between this and crayon resist is that with crayon resist you stamp the image in black (on glossy or US white), then color the spots you want to have "resisted" in white crayon, and THEN sponge the ink over top. Clear as mud?? Have fun!! ;)
