A new mixed media challenge is up, and I'm hosting MIX220: Unusual Borders! in the Mix-Ability Forum. Find different ways to add unusual borders to your projects and join us!
I used to unusual borders on my card today, both very easy to accomplish. Repeat stamp a sentiment for a border and add hot glue around the edges then paint (or use embossing powders and reheat) for a high texture border.
What unusual border can you think up for your project? I'd love to have you join us in the Mix-Ability forum this week!

Oh, I like that alternative idea of painting the hot glue! That sounds good to me. You certainly created a wonderful border round that dramatic cross panel.

Very interesting look with the cross seeming to float up out of that watery bg you created. The free form painted glue is like the little waves lapping at the edges.
