The suggested theme for the SCS Christmas Card Challenge for March was poinsettias. I do a quota of 10 each month and I didn't get my March quota finished so sat down today and did three variations using the same stamp.
For each variation, I stamped and heat embossed the poinsettia on watercolour paper, but used different colours each time. This one is stamped and heat embossed in gold. I used Inktense watercolour pencils to colour all three versions, fussy cut all three, and mounted them on fun foam but on different colours or styles of cardbases. This one is on a red cardbase, with a gold die cut sentiment, and some gold gemstones in the centre of the flower.
Interesting to see how the different colours of ink and embossing powder changes the look!
