Here is my card for the, IC590, challenge. I don't get to do this challenge very often, I'm glad I got to today. I clicked on, The Inspiration board, By Audrie I saw light houses, shells and waves. The waves inspired me. I have this digi image of a wave, I knew right then , that I wanted to try something with this. I also noticed all the different colors of sea shells, that I have never tried to color before, so I'm gonna try. Here goes. I cut panels, of navy cs, purple cs, and white cs. The white cs, holds my digi image, that I will layer onto the purple panel, next, I will layer that onto the navy panel. Now all my planning is done. I colored my wave with watercolor pencils, using shades of blue , green, turquoise, and white. I used shades of brown and gray pencils for the sand. Now all the coloring is done, I made my sea shells. I used the printer, to copy the printed black and white shells, that were on a cardboard container. I colored the shells, and fussy cut them out. The larger shell is three layers thick , I layered it onto two navy shell fussy cuts. after the shells were all made, I painted them, with clear nail polish, to make them look wet, like they had just popped out of the wave. Now. I used my Spellbinders- scalloped circle, to cut the frame for my wave. I put the wave panel through the cutlebug, in my shell border ef. I also put the scalloped frame through the, seashell border ef. Now all the layering is done, and the wave is framed. Now, I popped the shells onto the card, with pop up dots. The card is assembled. I die cut the Happy Birthday sentiment, and glued it to the card. I added gold stickles to the sand at the waters edge, and I added white frosted lace stickles, and dianond dust stickles to the tops of the waves, to complete my card. Thanks for the great challenge, and thanks for looking.
