I had this card ready for posting today and realized it fit the requirements for stripes in today's Ways To Use It. Happy accident
The "Happy" was die cut and set aside. The dp is a two-sided coordinated paper of browns, blues and grays - perfect for masculine cards. The brown strip is a leatherette-like paper that I have hoarded for many years, using little bits here and there. The papers were adhered to the card base and then the "Happy" die cut. I used a snippet of gray c.s. to create a banner. First, I hand cut a fish tail on one end, and then used the pounce to create a stitched detail at the other end. Finally I stamped "birthday" on the banner and attached it to the card.
Thanks so much for looking!
