I made this card for the Alphabet Challenge for week 14 for the letter Q (we are now on week 16 so I am behind). The Q in this card is for quatrefoil which is the design pattern of this lattice die. Cool, huh? I found this out by accident and I was rather excited about it. I am easily entertained though! The panel behind the lattice die is made with Ken Oliver Color Burst Powders sprayed with water and allowed to dry naturally overnight. When dry, I spray this same panel with Elmer's spray adhesive, then immediately dump dazzling diamonds glitter on top, and tap off the excess. I allow this to dry for about 5 minutes. Then I rub my finger over the entire panel to rub the glitter into the adhesive and loosen any glitter that did not stick. This can be a bit messy to do, but I love to do it anyway. I cut the flower 3 times: once from black cs, then groovy guava cs and last from some extra of the ken oliver color burst panel I just made. Joined all 3 layers of the flower with a small black brad and adhered to the card base with a foam square. I used Tombo glue to adhere the lattice panel to the glittered color burst panel and it works very well. This card was so much fun to make that I will be making a couple more for sure.

I love the die cut! I absolutely love that kind of design. And naturally, I'm entranced with the Color Bursts. Great card, great use of vocabulary on quatrefoil! Applause!!!

Karen, this is beautiful. The quatrefoil die cut is so lovely..........great to show that beautiful background through it. I'm thinking I need some colourbursts too. That flower is beautiful too.

I see you have been busy again with the adhesive and Dazzling Diamonds. You've made such a pretty card using the lattice to let all the color and glitter show through.
