I fell in love with the embossing over the floral image on this card by Featured Stamper Candee and had to try it my self. This is the card: Rose Garden Card by candee porter at Splitcoaststampers. I followed the design really closely. I had to substitute the flower bouquet for this daisy, and I swapped the blue for a golden yellow paper to coordinate with my stamp. I have yet to perfect the use of a daubber, so I chose watercolor to add my color. I chose a chevron embossing folder from The Paper Studio to emboss after stamping and coloring. This is my first challenge and I want to say "Thanks a bunch!" for the inspiration! This was fun.

Boy that embossing really adds a sense of substance to your beautiful card! I love that daisy image and you have coloured it so nicely! This is a wonderful card and a great tribute to the FS! Congrats on your first challenge; hope we see you often! :-)

NICE JOB! Love your flowers on your card and the golden hues. The black ink and card stock really bring dimension to your image with the embossed background. Great card -- for summer or autumn. Good job colouring your image! Thanks for your visit to my gallery! Candee P
