O= Outlines stamps, Ornament image, one layer for double challenge.
Stamped ornament onto card base in Versamark, embossed in gold. colored with Spica pens & Smooch inks. Then stamped borders in Versamark, embossed in gold, colored. Stamped sentiments in Versamark, embossed in gold, lightly fried the Peace word, so had to disguise that by sponging with green ink, which I then also had to do to the other sentiment. Then I thought it needed something else for balance- DH disagreed. I settled on stamping snowflakes in Versamark and embossing in pearl. Sponged the edges of the card in green, to give it a finished look.
I had an AWFUL time with this card- one layer is unforgiving, if you goof, you can't cover it up easily! When you're stamping in Versamark, you can't see if your image is whole until you put the embossing powder on, at which point, you can't fix it. I had to touch up the scalloped edges on the borders with Versamark pen, since they were JUST short of meeting the card edges, and then emboss the addition. The sentiments aren't at exactly the same angle, but I couldn't fix that, either. One layer cards are HARD!!! I'm pleased with the final result, but I don't think I'd do it again.

Pat, this is a beautiful Christmas card that works perfectly for the O Alphabet challenge. You are the only one who knows what you went through in making this wonderful card (and I do understand because I struggle with some cards too), and the rest of us appreciate it and enjoy it for the gorgeous card it is! Whomever receives this card will love it! ~Karen.
Fabulously done, this one layer card looks to be more layers!, I think you are an expert at one layer cards! Great job on the "O" challenge and the double challenge!
Hahha...having never did a single embossing...I was going to ask, if it was possible to use a waterbrush or even just a paint brush or qtip to gather up more of the embossing ink, and mark it or dribble it into the areas that didn't make it, then heatgun it again...or would the second layer of heat ruin the first embossing?
VERY adorable, and amazing. Now...i really need to learn how to do embossing...soooooon.

Wow spectacular!! I absolutely love all of the embossing, and it looks perfect to me! Can hardly believe it is a handmade card. I think the snowflakes are awesome, great addition.
