This week the Alphabet Challenge letter is N (details at post 1470 in the alphabet challenge). I didn't do the double challenge which was to make a card for my next occasion that I need a card.
I love music so chose to make a card covered with notes. First I used the background stamp. I stamped the two smaller images and heat embossed them, adding color with markers to the rose. I finished by stamping directly on the DSP with the eighth note. There was a bit of stamp mess so I added stars with the black marker.
This card has lots of layers for me - should be for the letter L!
Thanks for looking.

Oh ms Catherine such a pretty card. The embossing makes the notes pop and have a layer of its own. I like that there isn't to many colors to take away from the beauty of the card. In fact made it more outstanding. MFS.
Love it...and in a sense, I think you did make a card for your next event...because it could be "changed" into anything...even christmas! Just add the first line of almost any Christmas song...i think the hardest to "change" it to would be halloween, but I am sure someone would have an idea of that. Even "Just a note to wish you Happy Halloween" for someone who isn't that much into it, or the decorating/costume part of it so much.
But I love it. So pretty. I haven't done heat embossing yet...but I love the slick black shiny of the card...I would love to get that level of pretty.
Hahahha. You could even make it a "next" card, by sending it to one of the people on the N challenge, maybe "newbies"...*giggles* ((no, wasn't saying me)).
Overall, *LOVE* it! I rate it an "N" on a scale of A thru J!

Love this "noteworthy" card, Catherine. And now I know what is the 8th note! Glad you were able to save the flaw. One would never know. Great coloring. I love the sheet music look.

This is just gorgeous! I love the layers! And the layout design... I also thought notes that you write, but this is even better! xoxo I'll be adding this to my favorites. ;)
