The Inspiration Challenge is to use the Designspiration site to create a card. This site was full of wonderful inspiration and I chose this design and this design as inspiration for my card.
I created my stencil by die cutting alphabet dies. I mixed up some white embossing paste with some green dye ink and applied it to the stencil placed over kraft cardstock. Instead of smoothing the paste over the alphabet, I used an up and down motion with the palette knife to make the alphabet appear somewhat organic. After it was dry, I drew some vines and leaves leading up to the G and O with a marker after which I applied glue to the G and O and added Flower Soft. I stamped and embossed the sentiment in white on a black banner and then applied it with dimensional adhesive. Finally, I added the panel to a black card base.
Thanks so much for looking!

Your card with the green embossing paste and stencil turned out spectacularly. Love how you did the "G" and the "O" to spell "GO" which correlated so well to your message....great creative thinking, Cindy. A most appealing card.

What a clever combination of two inspiration pieces! Your message comes across loud and clear! Nice colors with with that flower soft dressing up the "GO".
