One of my Christmas cards for the August challenge - arctic animals, etc., with a bonus of humor. No humor here, but I love this image and had to use it.
The image came from an old Christmas card that I scanned. There was a sentiment at the bottom, which I erased in Photoshop before printing on vellum. I stamped the sentiment and embossed with clear ep. I added silver Gelly Roll pen to the snowflakes in the image.
I cut the image to size and backed it with pale gray cs, attaching it with Sookwang tape. To hide the tape, I cut a frame from shimmer black cs using SB A7 Matting basics dies. I attached the image to the card base and added the frame with black foam tape.
As always, thanks for looking!

Beautiful! I love the old Santas and this one is awesome. Your falling snow looks so pretty. I love your frame. Those matting basic dies are great for that.

You printed that on vellum? Oh my gosh what a gorgeous image! This is outstanding! Love the framing even if it was done to hide the tape. It's just gorgeous!

This is not only fantastic, but beautiful, Jody. I wish I had your computer talents. Printing the image on vellum gives it a whole other character....frosty and other worldly. The bright white dots for snow were a brilliant addition.
