This is my sample for CC596. Maura is our hostess and she has chosen always artichoke, cherry cobbler and pool party for her color trio. Dessert is bling.
When Maura gave us her colors, I knew I wanted to make a Christmas card. So today it's all about Santa with a twist. He is flying an airplane. Maybe his reindeers are on strike this year (lol)!!
My flying Kris Kringle is a die from CottageCutz. The die is a 4 x 6 and all the plane pieces are arranged separately on the metal plate. Which allows you the option of cutting in whatever color you want. I love all the detail on this die.
My background panel is designer paper from the Stamping =Up "irresistibly yours" collection. It is already embossed and all you have to do is add your color. The embossed area will reisit the ink. I thought this background looked like snow falling. I sponged pool party ink on the background.
The pine trees (deer & forest border) & Merry Christmas (Merry Christmas Santa) dies are from the new CottageCutz Christmas collection.
My bling is the gold star, glitter on Santa's hat and arms plus I added chunky glitter to my hilly slope.
Another Christmas card to add to my slowly growing collection. Hope you can play along with us this week. Check out the other DT creations for more inspiration.

Wow, Mary!! That flying Santa is outstanding!! I LOVE all the details included in the die. You certainly made him very handsome! The trees, snowy hill, and Merry Christmas sentiment add so much to the card!! LOVE everything about the card. I think it is so cool that, thus far, we thought of a Christmas Card with the colors!

How adorable this is, love the die collection, especially the tiny details that can be cut with different color papers. You must have had such fun putting this together, it is a delightful card!
