This is my card for Barbara's CC595 challenge. She chose daffodil delight, old olive and mossy meadow as her color trio. Dessert this week is summer treats and she left that up to our interpretation. Our backyard garden are filled with beautiful eye treats- namely flowers. So I picked that theme up with my designer paper, embossing and stamped image.
If you would like to see some of the flowers that we have, go to this blog post.
Now onto my card for this challenge. I used the MojoMonday460 sketch for my card layout.
The background dsp is from the Stampin'-Up "Park Lane" collection. My vertical mossy meadow rectangle panel is embossed with the textured impressions ef from Stampin'-Up.
The circle is cut with the CottageCutz double stitched circle die in daffodil delight. I added my sentiment to the circle using the "hello spring" dies also from CottageCutz.
My horizontal rectangle panel is stamped with an image from the Stampin'-Up "thoughts & prayers" set. I used daffodil delight and old olive markers to color in the image and then stamped.
Added a few punched butterflies to complete my card. I thought this would be a good card to send off to a friend that I haven't seen or talked to in awhile.

Oooooh! Mary! I think this is one of my all-time favorites of all the beautiful cards you've made! I love the combination of textures and your interpretation of the Mojo sketch. The little butterflies are the perfect finishing touch. Love this!

Outstanding, Mary, and I love everything about it. The lovely dsp, Flower Garden embossed strip, floral image and tiny butterflies are gorgeous! The green sentiment on the yellow circle is eye catching! Your cards are always beautiful, Mary!
