I'm trying to make up my July quota of Christmas cards, and was able to nail both Sandee's challenges in one here .
The blue panel is a leftover from a design I decided not to mass produce (4, in my realm, is mass production, LOL) a couple of years ago, and I think this sees the last piece used up. It was an IO backgrounder, Swirl. Lace, stamped on coloured card with white and embossed with white. I cut the oval aperture in it and added a gold matting layer.
The snowman was stamped on white card, masked, and then the sky and snow were sponged in. I spattered a bit of water over to add a snowy feel to the sky.
Lucky accident...originally my holly berries were Liquid Pearls, just like the little white berries. But yes, you guessed it - when I picked it up, I smudged them.
So I tried making it better with Stickles, but when I finally went to take a photo this morning, that didn't look a whole lot better. So I ended up punching and slightly shaping little circles and then adding Glossy Accents, and in spite of being recovery mode, these berries look the best of all.
