We "Hit the Beach" yesterday with Kathleen Curry's Clean And Simple Challenge, CAS385, that she hosted. This card is my submission for the challenge.
For my recent beach scene cards, I've used die cuts a lot. I decided I wanted a stamp related to the beach for this challenge. In my search for a stamp, I stumbled across a stamp from the 2004 SU Sweet Seasons Stamp Set. I've had the stamp set since its release but never used it. I decided it would be perfect for two reasons; 1) the challenge, and 2) a card for my sweet, precious 18-month old granddaughter who loves the beach and my crafting. Each week when she visits, she goes straight to my craft room and says "more", meaning she wants to do "more" crafting. I am so excited that she already loves crafting! Of course she gets a lot of help from me, but she really enjoys it and I love it!!!
Thanks for stopping in and for your ole so sweet comments!! They are immensely appreciated!
Bev

Oh Bev,
What a sweet story about your little granddaughter! And what a beautifully colored image you have done here! I am with you on loving that my granddaughter also likes to make cards with me. She is only 5 but wants to learn everything about techniques! Always "how did you do that grandma?"

How perfectly adorable, Bev. Beautiful coloring. So very sweet your little granddaughter already shows an interest in getting paint and ink all over herself. You're blessed to have your GD come over every week. Beautiful scene you've created without any dies, too.

Wonderful colors and fun scene! Love that image and that sentiment is just the cutest. Your stitched rectangles are a fabulous way to frame this! Great card!
